Wearing it like a badge of honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jen Beirola, prior U.S. Air Force enlisted, prepares to irrigate a fresh tattoo after putting the finishing touches on it at an annual tattoo convention July 19. Jen discovered her talent while serving in the Air Force and was inspired by the late graphic artist career field. Military members stationed at Whiteman were able to attend the convention and watch tattoo arts such as Jen perform their craft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Kenny Holston)
