STARBASE Connecticut
Melissa Vanek, director, STARBASE Connecticut, demonstrates how to build modules using Pro Engineer software July 9, 2009 at the STARBASE facility, Brainard Airport, Hartford. STARBASE students learn how to use the program to create models and then utilize a 3D printer to bring their models to life. With recent curriculum changes, STARBASE has shifted to teach more science, engineering and math in an attempt to align with what is taught at public schools. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
