103rd ACS earns Outstanding Unit Award: establishes a “culture of excellence”
Members of the 103rd ACS stand in formation during the ceremony that was held to formally recognize the unit for exceptionally meritorious service from Nov. 1, 2007 to Oct. 31, 2009. According to the citation, the unit demonstrated exceptional command and control operations by deploying in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, and provided tactical battle management and command and control for the Combined Forces Air Component Commander as the premiere Air National Guard unit to operate with Battle Control Center United States Air Forces Central.
