As iron sharpens iron: Remembering 9/11

Col. Peter Siana presents a certificate and flag to the Enfield Fire Department during a ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, in Enfield, Conn., Sept. 11, 2011. The flag is significant in that it was flown in a Connecticut Air National Guard A-10 Thunderbolt II Aircraft during three tours of duty in Iraq and was airborne over Iraq at the exact moment of the attacks on our nation. To the right are two pieces of twisted steel salvaged from Ground Zero. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Emmanuel Santiago)
