Servicemembers honored at Armed Forces Day Luncheon

SOUTHINGTON, Conn. -- Servicemembers were honored at the 62nd Annual Armed Forces Day Luncheon May 20, 2011, at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.

A member from each branch of the Armed Services was recognized for their distinguished service. The honorees were: Connecticut Army National Guard Sgt. Brian P. Macy, of Ledyard; United States Army Reserve Master Sgt. John O'Donal, of Colchester; United States Marine Corps Reserve Cpl. Alejandro Carrizales; United States Navy Reserve Petty Officer Michael Rondinone, of Middletown; Connecticut Air National Guard Master Sgt. Carrie Traverse, of East Haven; and United States Coast Guard Reserve Petty Officer Michael Firmin, of East Lyme.
