The Connecticut Air National Guard strives to be a good neighbor by maintaining good community and media relations with our surrounding communities. We diligently seek to provide timely, responsive, and factual answers to all public inquiries as they pertain to the 103rd Airlift Wing.
The 103rd Airlift Wing appreciates the enormous sacrifices made by our neighbors as we train for national emergencies and the defense of our country. Among those sacrifices is the occasional disruption of daily life by noise and flight operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding while our Airmen strive to train and support our State and Federal missions - know that your safety and the safety of our Airmen are paramount. The training we conduct to maintain our readiness and federal requirements sometimes results in low-flying aircraft and noise.
If you’d like to notify our team about an aircraft related disturbance, you may either call our Public Affairs office or complete the contact form on this page choosing "Public Affairs" as the recipient with “Aircraft Complaint” as the subject. Please detail the nature of the complaint (low-flying, noise, etc.), aircraft description, date and time of disturbance, location, flight direction, weather, and any additional information you feel is relevant to the complaint. A public affairs representative will respond to your message within several business days.
