Lieberman Visits With Conn. Air National Guardsmen in Southwest Asia

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- WASHINGTON, DC -- Senator Joseph I. Lieberman met with members of the Connecticut Air National Guard serving in Southwest Asia Oct. 25, 2010.
The Guardsmen are members of Connecticut's 103rd Air and Space Operations Group and are currently working in the Combined Air and Space Operations Center based in Southwest Asia.
"I could not be more proud of the work you are doing here," Lieberman said.
"Your efforts guarantee that our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan receive the critical supplies and air support that keeps them in the fight."
Senator Lieberman was traveling in the region to meet with the troops and foreign government leadership.
